After two weeks at school, already one week of holidays to enjoy and rest before the busy period of exams !

Hi everybody !

After some weeks, it's time for us to give you some news and keep telling you about our adventures :)

The long-awaited holidays arrived soon after our return, the opportunity for us to spend some time with our relatives and to discover new things :)

Marine and her boyfriend Florent spent a weekend in Brittany to visit the city of Saint-Malo and the famous Mont-Saint-Michel ! ( also the opportunity to eat good crepes and enjoy cider :) )

Saint-Malo <3

What a nice weekend with a very bright sun and a beautiful blue sky !!

The Mont-Saint- Michel !

Manon spent the week at her boyfriend's house, in the centre of France. It was the opportunity for her to try downhill ski for the 1st time! After a looot of funny (but non-painful) falls, she finally manage to ski green tracks without falling (Alison would have been proud of her spinning and breaking!)

It was also a chance to be in her boyfriend's house (which is in reality a farm) to enjoy all dairy products (as milk, yogourts and St-Nectaire, the famous organic cheese!)

The holidays were too short and soon it was time to say good-bye and go back to school!

Downhill ski!!

After this amazing week of holidays, it's time to go back to school to begin a very busy period of school projects and exams !

But fortunately we have some field trips with our respective specialization to take a breath !

Farm visits for Marine to learn more about pigs, cattle and poultry breeding (She is always very happy to listen to the breeders ! ) and ecotechnologie trips for Manon, as biogas plants or river ecosystems.

With Wendy, a friend of ours during the visit !

During their weekends Manon and Marine also have the chance to do some nice activities :)

Marine doesn't stop running along the "Vilaine" ( the river that runs through the city of Rennes) because the view is just amazing ! She also visited her sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew in La Rochelle (just 3 hours by car)  !! Finally her twin brother came to visit her and to discover Rennes by night. Here are some pictures for you :)

As for Manon, she is a very active member of the hicking club of her school, and every week-end is the opportunity to visit and learn more about Brittany! They already went to Broceliande forest (yes, the one of Arthur legends!) and also Mont-St-Michel. Next week will be a three-day hike near the sea.

Here are some pictures of her hikes:

Manon at Mont-St-Michel!

And now, a little final bonus!

Rennes is also a city full of nature and animals, and it is rather easy to take pictures of them if you know where to find them! (all right, they're not as incredible as the ones we saw in Alberta).

Here is a little selection:

Little animals in Rennes...

And now, it's time to say good-bye ! We both hope everybody is doing well in Canmore, we are missing you a lot!!!
