Diving in deep Blue

Have you ever felt the islander feeling? The kind when you climb the mountains and look around and all you can only see is water surrounding your little rock lost in the big ocean. Then you dive into this deep blue ocean to enter a whole new world of unexpected wonders ...

Exploring the lagoon

We went to a nice spot where the beach comes out a postcard. A really good diving center for our first diving initiation on our Tipaniers favorite place.
And what an experience!
I felt like floating in space entering a brand new world where I fly with the stingrays and look from very close to the hundreds colors fishes, turtles and sharks swimming peacefully with us. The effect is impressive and all irrational fears simply vanished. I let myself softly dive into the deep blue of the ocean.

Testing my diving skills

I spend part of my time on Moorea to pass my licence to dive in open sea. 4 lessons splitted between the lagoon and the ocean. First of all, the lagoon is a really nice spot where coral, fish, ray and turtle evolve in a clear and warm water. But then, the ocean is even more impressive! The visibility in the water even at 20 metres deep, the clarity is beyond all expectation.
We start to see some heavy stuff there too ... Lemon sharks of 2-3 meters swimming so close to me I can almost touch them. And against alll expectation and all my fears, I remain perfectly calm without an once of stress. Once again, I'm floating in a blue dream.
