Tongariro Northern Circuit: all around the volcanos

Sunrise over the valley, sleeping on the edge of the cliffs and waking up while the sun enter my tent. I team with Ad (Israel) for the day walk as we reach the "palace" hut before noon.
Saying goodbye to the Northern circuit via Desert road (as desolated as the name suggest). Kaimanawa forest by Tree Trunk Gorge and Pillars of Hercules. I arrived to Urchin campsite where I met Scottish, Germans and Americans for a great campfire evening with beers and music until 2am.
The next day was a hard way back under heavy rain and violent wind for 6 hours walk, where my physical and mental strength were tested...
